I’d like to share my experience with Daphne, my housing agent. In short, It was truly pleasant to work with Daphne. She took every effort to help from find flats, check the room status, resolve issues and get the contract done. Actually, I had an issue on the refrigerator in the new apartment which I think it’s caused by miscommunication between landlord and his agents. I never expected this kind of situation so I had no idea how to solve the issue. I was very worried if I could continue the agreement because landlord’s agent was just trying to avoid the situation. But Daphne tried very hard to reach out to the landlord’s agent and solve the issue. She was willing to take the responsibility on what she did nothing wrong and convinced landlord and his agent to share the responsibility. I moved to the new apartment last week and my family are so happy with new apartment. It would not have been possible to get the TA signed without Daphne’s help. My wife and I relocated to Hong Kong in 2016 from the Cayman Islands. We used several different agents in our quest to find an apartment. Jeremy was the best by a significant margin; he is highly professional and extremely thorough. He took the time to listen carefully to our requirements/desires and put together a portfolio of properties to help us better understand the HK property market and to help us understand what we were really looking for. In addition to finding appropriate listings, he then took us through a well-planned schedule of appointments to see the apartments we were interested in. His local knowledge is invaluable and he was able to offer many insights as to the pros and cons of each apartment and the area in which they are located. Vion was very accommodating and helpful. She didn't push me to get a particular place but instead gave me the space to consider which apartment I like. She also helped to look out for blind spots (e.g. fridge not working, water pipes not working, missing bulbs etc) which I was not as familiar with. Finally, Vion was also very helpful and helped me to secure furniture and arrange for movers to bring the furniture into my new place (and oversaw the move as I was overseas).
